Ministry Programs
Program | Description |
Student Leadership | This is the student leadership program, open to high school students (need recommendation from small group teachers, application/interview process). There are three teams to this program: (1) Media Team; (2) Welcoming Team; (3) Activities Team. Each team has a TITUS teacher directing and meets with a TITUS pastor on a regular basis to train each member on their responsibilities. Each team is tasked with certain responsibilities (i.e., retreat preparations, welcoming, and creating promos). |
AMP Praise Team/AMP Jr. | This is the student-led praise team for TITUS Youth Ministry. AMP is open to students through an interview/try-out process and they are responsible for leading worship on a weekly basis. AMP members meet every Saturday in the main-sanctuary from 2-4 PM to rehearse for Sunday worship service. For our younger members, we have our AMP Jr. team that is designed to train members who are interested in joining our praise team. They are trained by our teachers and rehearse from 12-2 PM. |
Retreats | Retreats are probably the biggest ministry programs for TITUS Youth Ministry. We generally have two retreats per year. Winter Retreats is usually around the end of December and Summer Retreats is around the beginning of August, and retreats are typically 2 nights, 3 days long. For each retreat, we invite a special guest speaker to preach the Word of God that is related to the retreat theme. Retreats are a time of fun team games, skits, group sharing, and powerful worship sessions. |
True Love Waits | Every February, TITUS Youth Ministry goes through “True Love Waits” program, where we spend one whole month teaching about biblical purity and what it means to be “holy”. Students sign up for new commitments and recommitments and after going through a series of seminars/lecturers, students are presented with purity rings and certificates during the True Love Waits Banquet. |
Summer Missions | TITUS Youth Ministry partners with other flock groups within BSBC for short-term summer missions. The location varies every year, but the procedure is the same. Those who sign up for short-term summer missions must participate in BSBC VBS prep and VBS while going through TITUS Mission’s Training. |
